Hi, I’m Angela — the heart behind Angela’s Tailz. I’m so glad you’re here.
My love for dogs has been with me for as long as I can remember. It’s more than a passion — it’s part of who I am. In 2023, I followed that calling and became a certified dog groomer through the QQI Level 5 course at Mallow Night School. Shortly after, I launched my own mobile grooming salon with a vision: to create a calm, kind, and personalized grooming experience for every dog I meet.

At Angela’s Tailz, grooming isn’t just about appearance — it’s about well-being. I specialize in holistic grooming, combining gentle handling, empathy, and patience to help dogs feel safe and supported. I take the time to build trust and allow dogs to move at their own pace, making grooming a positive part of their lives rather than something stressful or overwhelming.

Why I Love What I Do

Grooming is my art, my service, and my joy. Every session is a chance to connect with a dog’s unique personality, and I feel honored to be part of their journey. Seeing a dog leave the van relaxed, clean, and happy never gets old — it’s what keeps me inspired every day.

Outside the Salon
​
When I’m not grooming, I love rollerskating, enjoying nature, and spending time with my family and my own dogs. I also enjoy working on dog-related eBooks and creative resources that help pet parents care for their dogs between appointments. These moments recharge me and keep me grounded, reminding me why I chose a slow, heart-led path in the first place.
